Sophie Buck
Fundraising strategist
Fundraising strategist and hands-on development
Bio
I’m a fundraising consultant who helps charities grow income through strategy development, fundraising audits and training, as well as hands-on practical fundraising in trust and corporate partnerships.
I’ve spent my career working in or with the third sector, from senior executive roles in multi-million-pound charities to leading high-performing fundraising teams. I’ve secured significant grants from household-name trusts and foundations and managed charity partnerships raising over £1 million a year while working corporate-side.
I’ve supported organisations of all sizes across medical research, education, substance misuse, child exploitation, community, refugee and music charities. I also have a unique insight into the criminal justice system as an active sitting Member of the Parole Board, assessing and deciding whether prisoners can be safely released into the community.
I’m told I have a warm, can-do and supportive style, bringing fresh energy and a practical approach to every project.
