Robert Omwa

Robert Omwa is very enthusiastic about transforming education and making

classrooms safe for children to learn. He has an MA in International Education and

Development with Distinction from the University of Sussex, UK. He is a Chevening

Scholar. His dissertation topic was: ‘Supporting Kenyan teachers to use alternative to

corporal punishment: A critique of the Positive Discipline program in Kenya.’ Robert

has over 10 years of teaching experience in Primary and Secondary schools. He is a

teacher trainer on Child Protection. In 2018 Kenyan president awarded him the Head

of state Commendation for the work of making schools safer.
