Kate Woode

Kate has worked in the charity and not-for-profit sector for nearly 20 years, mostly for small charities. She now works as a freelance charity consultant, working with charities and not-for-profit organisations to develop their strategic vision and services, including scoping new projects, as well as providing specialist fundraising, communications and marketing expertise. Kate also advises on charity governance and helps charities design and develop effective internal processes.

She has experience managing charities as a trustee and a successful track record of helping charities increase their funding throughout her career. Her key skills are: developing a charity strategic vision; working with trustees and charity employees to provide a clear direction and building a delivery programme to support this vision; developing fundraising strategies including building trust and foundations pipeline, developing corporate fundraising programmes and expanding community fundraising; and developing a marketing and communications platform for charities to build their brand and connect with supporters.
