Joanna Waddington

Joanna has lived in East Africa working in the Not for Profit sector for over 25 years. She founded and developed two INGOs in Kenya and Tanzania to become internationally recognized organizations in Community Health, Child Development, Rights Protection and Community Livelihoods sectors. She founded a UK charity to fundraise for East African partners.
She has unique hands-on experience working in challenging environments to develop projects and programmes with local partners, ensuring effective strategies and organizational systems and building local capacity to deliver, manage, govern and sustain growth. She has extensive experience in donor liaison, fundraising, monitoring and evaluation, project research and evaluations for local organizations, donors and the corporate sector.
