Our Founder, Vic, has worked in small charities for the past 15 years. And she kept on facing the same challenge: finding high quality, affordable and appropriate freelance support and consultancy - from people who really "got" the charity’s unique challenges.

"I understand the challenges you face. I've been there too. That's why I'm passionate about helping socially purposed organisations do more good stuff, no matter their size.

Since 2016, I've been dedicating my time to helping good humans. I'm proud to say that we've provided over 500 hours of pro bono support to small charities in the last 7 years.

Why do I care? Because I believe in the collective power of people who want to do good stuff in the world. Small organisations in particular are the lifeblood of our communities and your good cause deserves the best. Fair Collective will work hard to achieve that, right by your side, by matching you with reliable (and affordable!) support.

Our mission: to give every organisation the tools, support and solidarity to thrive - regardless of their size".

Fair Collective was Founded as Fair Development back in 2016. Our Founder Vic was working in small charities and had two lots of maternity leave. Vic decided to close the Company and run it as a Sole Trader. In 2023 we re-branded to Fair Collective and registered as a Company Limited By Guarantee.

We have always operated as a Social Enterprise and in 2024 we moved to full Not-For-Profit status by adding an Asset Lock and Not-For-Profit Clause to our Articles of Association. We continue to donate 50% of our profits via pro bono work, the rest is invested into the business or donated to causes we care about.

You will find us on Companies House as Fair Collective Group Limited.
